Mr. Evans has been teaching and leading schools for 33 years. He began his teaching career in London, England. He has over 20 years of international experience in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. He has been leading an international school for the past 9 years and saw the school grow from 26 students to 765 students. Mr. Evans has been a member of the CIEO family and has lived in China for the past 9 years.

Mark Evans 先生已经执教及领导学校超过 33 年。他在英国伦敦开始他的教学生涯，并于新加坡、香港及中国内地拥有逾 20 年国际教育经验。在过去的 9 年里，他一直领导国际学校的发展，并见证学校从 26 名学生发展到 765 名学生。Evans 先生一直是加拿大国际教育集团（CIEO）大家庭的成员，过去 9 年一直居住在中国。

Dear BIS Families,

Firstly, I would like to say that it’s my pleasure being Principal here at Britannia International School. I hope you all had a great summer holiday.

亲爱的英伦大家庭们，

首先我想说，我很高兴成为BIS英伦学校的校长。我希望你们暑假过得愉快。

On Thursday 18th August we held our parent orientation morning for EYFS so that parents and students can familiarise themselves with the school and their classrooms along with meeting their teacher. The leadership team also opened up time for Q&A which was great.

8月18日星期四，我们举办了幼儿园家长迎新会，让家长和学生在与老师见面的同时熟悉学校和教室。管理团队还一一解答了家长们的问题，这是非常有效的。

In the afternoon of the 18th we had the Primary year parents and students come the meet to meet their teachers. I feel certainly in the EYFS and lower years in primary that having these times to meet the teachers and leadership relaxes the parents.

在18日下午，小学的家长和学生们见到了他们的老师。我确信，在幼儿园和小学低年级，与老师和领导的见面会可以让家长感到放松。

Lastly on Friday 19th the morning was taken up with the secondary school. Most of the conversation was concerning the new IGCSE pathway leading up to A level. The preparation needed is paramount and really the pathway starts all the way back in nursery.

最后，在19日星期五，上午是中学迎新日。大部分的话题都是关于IGCSE课程，最终通往A Level的路径。所需的准备是至关重要的，实际上，这条道路从幼儿园就开始了。

It was wonderful meeting all that came and I’m really looking forward to the up and coming school year.
